1. Climate neutrality – strategy, investment, roadmap

Achieving climate neutrality by 2050 is technologically feasible. For the transformation to be cost-effective for all stakeholders, new legal frameworks and structures are needed to enable affordable construction. Policymakers, builders and the industry need to agree on a roadmap - planning certainty creates a willingness to invest.

3. Networked construction - machines, processes, people

Environmental protection and staff shortages are accelerating the digitization of machines and the development of automated and alternative construction methods to make processes more efficient, safer and more user-friendly - in all construction segments. Data management and serial construction are two essential factors of networked construction.

4. Sustainable construction - carbon footprint, resource conservation, circular economy

Building materials are a key to significantly reducing the carbon footprint. Sensitive demolition processes with up-cycling machines will make construction waste and disposal a thing of the past as far as possible.

5. Mining challenge - security of supply of commodities, automation, ESG

The supply of raw materials must be secured through political support in third countries and a new approach to domestic raw material extraction. Redesigning and renaturating landscapes is part of every project planning. Automated and, where possible, autonomous processes ensure greater efficiency and safety. ESG criteria (Environmental, Social, Governance) help companies to secure the supply of raw materials while at the same time taking ethical principles into account.
